Rendit ProtxSeal Water Sealer

Protxseal is our own design and specification high performance water sealer compatible with use on mineral substrates such as renders, stones, blocks etc.

Key Features

Completely invisible; does not change the appearance of the substrate at all.

Siloxane based formula for high performance: Adds a self-cleaning effect to through coloured renders.

Can be used on all porous masonry surfaces, will even protect slabs, block paving etc from render splats adhering during render application.

Can be over painted, compatible with vinyl, acrylic, silicone or pliolite paints or our own Mendrend Render Repair System.

Quick drying on all neutral and alkaline substrates.

High penetration rates.

Very slight changes in materials porosity – The walls can still breathe.

Outstanding resistance to ageing agents (Freeze, thaw, UV, Etc.) due to stable structure of siloxane bonds that form with the substrates reactive groups.

Helps prevent algae growth and proliferation.

Easily applied using a low pressure spray, brush or sheepskin roller.

Consumption

Approx 3-5m2 per litre.
