Sika Parex Base Coats for Cement Particle Board
Parex base coats suitable for cement particle or external insulation board. The use of a compatible base coat and mesh on these substrates before the application of a compatible Parex top coat is crucial. We advise that a lightweight render from the Parex DPR range should be used in all instances on these substrates but a Parex EHI finish could be also considered onto cement particle boards
A green coloured glass fibre mesh fabric combined with specially designed surface treatments that can be used in a wide range of PAREXTHERM and PAREXDIRECT render applications. For ease of identification the 355 AVU mesh is coloured green and has the ‘PAREX’ name and logo throughout the mesh.

MAITE MONOCOMPOSANT is a multi-purpose coloured, breathable and weatherproof mortar in powder form ready to mix with water. It is intended to be used in the PAREXTHERM Mineral render system, PAREXTHERM and PAREXDIRECT Acrylic render systems. It is suitable for use as an adhesive for bonding the insulations to the substrate and for creating a base coat with mesh.
