A white liquid admixture used for a range of key coat preparations, bonding and waterproofing coats and which significantly improves the performance of mortars and concrete.

BENEFITS

  • Excellent adhesion of renders, mortars and concrete, even on smooth substrates.
  • Waterproofs renders and mortars and improves resistance to oils, grease, fuel and dilute acids.
  • Passivation of steel rebars.
  • Lowers the modulus of elasticity and improves the resistance of mortar to tension, abrasion and impacts.
  • Allows for the construction of structures intended to be in contact (even permanently) with water or sea water (using the appropriate cement).
  • Limits shrinkage, crazing and chalking.
  • Solid content: 50%.

SUITABLE FOR

  • Key coat for hydraulic coatings, screed and low absorption substrates.
  • Cement-based coatings.
  • To control suction on high absorption substrates such as lightweight aircrete blocks.
  • Waterproof coatings for tanking, reservoirs, holding tanks and swimming pools.
  • Bonding and waterproofing of render and plaster coatings.
  • Bonding cement screeds without the need for existing surface preparation.
  • Enhances screed for laying tiles.
  • Coating, re-profiling or re-shaping mortar for patching areas such as damaged corners of concrete.
  • Bonding mortar for repairing concrete (bridging mortar for construction joints).
  • Mortar for fixing/bonding prefabricated elements.
  • Pointing and filling mortar for voided masonry joints, chimney stacks or to form a mortar flashing.
  • Repair of concrete floors.
